If you're out and about on Wednesday and notice a couple of helicopters buzzing around, it might not strike you as out of the ordinary. But when guys with rifles lean out and start firing off shots, you may become alarmed. Don't be. It's just the production team from Fox's Prison Break, which films in and around Dallas, shooting a scene for an upcoming episode. The action will center over and around the Old Detention Center at 4639 Harry Hines. According to a media announcement issued by city officials, one of the two helicopters "will be equipped with professional stuntmen, who will be firing prop guns with blank ammunition." The Prison Break production team may get more action than they bargained for, not to mention a valuable lesson in staging shoot-em-up scenes in Texas if some concerned citizens decide to return fire. The City of Dallas has been advised that on Wednesday, October 3rd, the FOX TV Series “Prison Break” will be filming an elaborate scene to include 2 helicopters at 4639 Harry Hines (Old Detention Center). One of the two helicopters will be equipped with professional stuntmen, who will be firing prop guns with blank ammunition throughout the day. |
