The whole elimination of Sarah struck me as kind of bizarre. Not the fact that she was eliminated, but the idea that somewhere along the way, in her "journey" as they like to call it, she had lost too much weight to be a plus-size model. She looked the same to me, except the haircut. |

Seriously! At the beginning, Tyra kept calling her "real-sized" -- not quite big enough to be a plus-sized model, but too big to do standard modeling. I wonder if anyone ever told her that they wanted her to be a plus-sized model. I don't know how she could lose weight in that house. They always seem to be eating chicken fingers and microwave pizza.

Amen. Remember at the very beginning when the judges commented that she's too thin to be a plus-sizer but too "heavy" to be a standard-issue model? Seems the panel has a short memory.
And what's up with Tyra? She weirded me out during her class on how to be a video vixen. Really, do these women need instruction on how to crawl across a floor or smile in a mirror? I'm hoping at least one contestant was thinking, "Wow. Here I am on national TV, learning to giggle at myself in this mirror. Meanwhile, I've been forced to wear the most horrific body suit ever constructed."
Speaking of which: WHY? They could have easily mastered the floor-crawl, coy laughter and even the slinky-slide-down-the-wall in everyday clothing.
Our models then went on to participate in a video shoot wearing fashions from the House of Skank. But doesn't that go against that non-hoochie talk from before, Tyra? I'm confused!

The show was a wee bit baffling. (Darla I love that: House of Skank.)
I think they got rid of Sarah because they didn't know who else to boot. She did look a lot different to me, but I didn't notice the difference till they showed her previously.
I must say, though, I used to like Chantal (from Austin), but now I'm thinking she's a little bit high on herself.
On the vixen class: I thought it was funny when Lisa couldn't come back up the mirror because her legs were too weak. I like her, but that child is thinny-thin-thin.
And I'm REALLY tired of hearing Bianca's mouth! Grrrr.
