America's Next Top Model: Wanna be on the bottom?

Ambreal, our Dallasite, got eliminated last night (but you already knew that). My Hartford (well, Farmington, CT, but close enough) homegirl Jenah is still hanging. I'm starting to not like the last Texan standing, Chantal from Austin.

Tyra did something really mean and unprecedented last night.

She mentioned the country that the models were going to before they did the elimination. Usually, the country isn't revealed till after elimination. So T was kind of mean last night by saying, "One of you isn't going to China." Ouch.

I'm still sick of Bianca, though I loved her picture last night with the burning car. ("You look like you set that car on fire!" Miss Jay said.) She's America's Next Naomi Campbell.

I'm expecting Heather to really snap any minute now, though. I like her, but I don't know whether she can handle the modeling world. It's not for the thin-skinned.

It was indeed very mean of Tyra to hype up the China trip only to then announce one girl wouldn't be going. And she didn't stop there; every time she said the name of a girl who is "still in the running towards becoming America's Next Top Model," she'd add, "AND you're going to China."
When Ambreal got the boot, I expected Tyra to grab her by the shoulders and stress one more time that she will NOT be going on the big trip. Ever! No China for you, Ambreal!
My other favorite part: During their photo shoot, Mr. Jay advised Heather to portray someone who's lost in the desert. He then said she failed because she looked "lost." Um, isn't that precisely what he told her to do?
