LOST: Sawyer's 'Bad to the Bone' video

Last night, about halfway through ABC's repeat airing of Lost's two-hour Season 3 finale, there was a hilarious one-minute video montage starring Josh Holloway as Sawyer.

During the guitar vamp that opens the song, we see Sawyer taunting: "New sheriff in town, boys! Y'all best get used to it." And the rest -- well, you just have to see it for yourself. Call it James Ford's Greatest Hits, set oh-so-appropriately to "Bad to the Bone."

If you missed it, here it is on YouTube:

(Later there was another video montage of Terry O'Quinn as Locke, set to "Crazy" -- but for some reason nobody seems to have posted that one yet.)

Is there a more attractive man on our television sets than Josh Holloway? I say no.

As for the repeat airing last night, I truly hated the commentary at the bottom of the screen. "This is ... Sayid. He used to be ... in the ... Iraqi Republican Guard."

Yes. WE KNOW! Anyone who needed that much recapping this late in the Lost game should just give up. Or buy the DVDs and catch up yourselves. Do not burden us with other people's Oceanic ignorance.

Rant complete. I feel better!

Amen. Those subtitled commentaries were not nearly amusing or informative enough to make up for being so annoying. There was maybe ONE Easter egg "revealed" that I didn't already know about. I hated the commentary right from the first scene, where they informed us: "This is a flash-forward..." Well, no duh.

I also wondered: Could somebody be circumventing the writers' strike to create those stupid comments? But probably not. They read as if they were written by somebody from the mailroom.

Yes, a mailroom employee! That must be it. There's no way the show's genius creators wrote that junk. And what was up with all of the ellipses? "Sayid is a man ... who has a beard ... and curly hair." Grr! This show is much smarter than that ridiculousness.
