Which Atlanta audition was more touching? It had to be a tie between Asia'H Epperson, who dedicated "How Do I Live" to her recently-deceased dad, and 18-year-old Josiah "I'm Not Homeless" Leming, who admitted that living in his car "is scary and lonely." Thankfully, both sweet souls are through to Hollywood.

Before her audition, Miss South Florida Fair Brooke Helvie talked about what she might do if she doesn't make it on American Idol. "But I hope I do do American Idol," she said.
Pause. "I just said, 'Do do American Idol."
She's officially one of my favorites now. Yep, that's all it took. What can I say, I'm a pushover for third-grade humor!

First up tonight was glass worker Josh Jones, whose "expressive" eyes freaked out the judges. To remedy this, he auditioned with his back to them. "Something I wish we'd done to Clay Aiken years ago," Simon said.
The eye thing really didn't bother me that much, but we'll see how it goes over in Hollywood. (Yep, he got through.)
