Is it just me, or are the judges going just a teensy bit overboard with their praise of the little guy? I don't get it. He's breathy. Plus, all I can think about when he sings is "vocal paralysis." Maybe he'll get struck again, mid-song. That's my fear. |

Is it me or is Carly Smithson mysteriousy missing from the girls sitting on the sidelines. I have been looking intently and she is nowhere to be found. Is that just me?!?!?

Darla, don't be a Simon! (grin) I would like to see young David come back at least a couple more times and learn from this experience ... then audition again when his voice is solidly his.

Funny, I don't recall seeing Carly in the group, either! I'll rewind to make sure.
As for David, my apologies for being bit harsh. :) I think he's definitely a talented singer who will stick around for a long time. But I also think he'll be one of the more controversial, polarizing singers of the season. Some will love his sweetness, while others will want to puke. I'm still deciding what side of the fence I'll be on. :)

I just checked, and Denise is right: Carly was oddly absent from the group of girls tonight. Weird that they didn't offer an explanation!
