Only once before has another American Idol performance touched me to anywhere near the level that Carly's rendition of "Black Bird!" She was superb.

Definitely a shocker. At this point in the game I see her and Brooke being the last two. "Blackbird" really didn't do that much for me, but I did like the range and the way she handled it.
Amanda going out was a shocker. Last couple of performances weren't that great, but "Back in the USSR" was a good choice for her. I would have enjoyed seeing her do "Helter Skelter." She would have been a good act on the tour, if only they'd kick her mic up; the last two times the band and backup singers overpowered her.
