Did the DMN steal the Baltimore Sun's "Do More With Less" motto? It's a shame that for the finale of one of the best shows in the history of television, not one of the DMN's critics could write a story about it. Thank for pulling that AP story off the wire, though.

It is a shame that a series as great as this one could be swept off the air with so little fanfare. It was an incredible finale, and a perfect wrap-up to what I believe is the greatest show in television history.
Apparently it was too powerful, new and different to reach the masses, but I honestly believe every educated American owes it to themselves to watch this show. It was never just about Baltimore--the issues dealt with on The Wire are the definative issues of our time, and are being swept under the rug by the exact people the show portrays.
America lost a true work of art Sunday night, and the large majority is unaware. What else is new.
