LOST: 'The Other Woman'

In the Tempest station, Juliet holds a gun on Dan and tells him to stop what he's doing -- but he says he can't, that he's trying to save them all, to render the poison gas inert before it can contaminate everything and kill everyone.

Charlotte and Juliet struggle as Dan works, and Charlotte insists they need to disable the poison-gas system before Ben can use it to kill again, because they know he has used it before. Dan stops the system just in time, and all are relieved: "Man, that was a close one," he says, with magnificent understatement.

Flashback: In her lab, Juliet is reading Jack's dossier. Ben enters, and she tells him Jack is a spinal surgeon who could help him. Ben does not seem excited. Instead he takes her to where they found Goodwin's body, which Ana-Lucia left impaled by a stake. Juliet is shocked and grief-stricken; Ben says he supposes the Tailies found out Goodwin was an impostor.

Juliet accuses Ben of knowing this would happen, that he wanted Goodwin to die, but why? Ben says: "After everything I've done for you...how can you not understand that you're mine?"

On Island, Juliet and Charlotte leave the Tempest station as Kate and Jack arrive. Juliet explains that "they're on our side," and Jack says he'll take her word for it. Kate wants to see Daniel for reassurance, and Charlotte takes her inside to Dan.

Juliet remains outside with Jack and tells him that Ben wanted her to kill both Dan and Charlotte, that he knew how to find her and sent Harper to her. She tells Jack that the Freighter Four came to kill Ben, "but Ben is going to win, and you don't want to be near me when he does. He thinks I'm his. And he knows how I feel about you." They kiss, and Jack reassures her that he's not afraid of Ben.

In New Otherton, Sawyer and Hugo are playing horseshoes; Hugo is winning, which Sawyer cannot believe. Then they are startled to see Ben walking into the house next door. He's bloodied but free, nonchalantly carrying a stack of clean clothing.

"See you at dinner!" he calls to them, as they stare in disbelief.

So... it's Michael on the boat?

And where does Ben rank on the list of TV villains, all-time?
