Mariah Carey's new video has a '30 Rock' moment

The sultry screecher's new video, "Touch My Body" is on YouTube. It's a "story" video in which a GeekSquad-like VW bug pulls up to a palatial estate. A knock on the door, a barely dressed Mariah answers and we see that "CompuNerd" technician is none other than Jack McBray, though you may know him better as Kenneth Purcell, the cherubic country-boy intern from 30 Rock.

The song is supposed to a super-sexy slink-down, and if you close your eyes it is, but the video is the funniest three minutes on the Web that you didn't see first on FunnyorDie.com. It starts with Kenneth gasping in delight when Mariah opens the door, stammering "You're Mariah" and then screeching "ca-ca-caaaah" into the stratosphere. Mariah, wearing a satin robe hanging open to reveal her lingerie leads him to her computer -- Apple, of course, since she's an artist.

She starts singing and he starts fantasizing, leading to scenes of them pillow-fight romping in bed, taking a unicorn for a walk, playing laser tag and slot-car races, and, sexiest of all, her feeding him food out of the fridge a la 91/2 Weeks. The juxtaposition of all Mariah's panting declarations of lust ("let me rub my face around your waist") with ultra-innocent choirboy Kenneth, at one point sporting a viking helmet while getting spanked by Mariah, is sublimely silly.

A couple of meta-moments: In a case of virtual product placement, Mariah sings in the chorus "If there's a camera up io here then I best not catch this flick on YouTube" while the video premiere -- where else? -- but on YouTube.

At the end of the video, Mariah snaps Kenneth out of his fantasy by complaining that "download speed was killing me. Please tell me you updated to eight-oh-two dot eleven n." That's a hep-to-the-high-tech jive reference to the latest in wireless networking.
