Idol: Rundown

Best performances of the night (in my humble opinion): David Archuleta, our guy Jason and Kristy Lee Cook. Not necessarily in that order.
In the middle of the pack: Syesha. I think she's judged too harsly sometimes!
Worst: Michael Johns, David Cook, Carly Smithson and Brooke White. Brooke gets my vote for the most energy-free performance tonight. Hated that she looked at the camera and sang, "But don't you let them!" (You know, they'll take your soul if you let them.) Ugh. I'm officially over Brooke. As Simon would say, "Sorry!"

American Idol: Inspirational Week

Anyone else notice that most of the singers chose to sing songs about reaching your own personal goals instead of, oh, something more universal, like doing good for your fellow man? Of course, they are in that mode right now. I'll cut them some slack.

DWTS: Simplest theory proves correct, again

Thus far in the season, every Tuesday night has brought the same result: the worst dance is sent packing. That means this week was Adam Carolla's turn. Goofy charm and unicycle antics weren't enough to overcome his singular lack of dancing skills, even after the judges' chose him and partner Julianne to give the encore dance. If this straightforward worst-dancer-out trend continues, the next two weeks are easy to line up: Next is Priscilla Presley, then Marissa Winokur Jaret. Then it gets a little trickier.
