Anyone else notice that most of the singers chose to sing songs about reaching your own personal goals instead of, oh, something more universal, like doing good for your fellow man? Of course, they are in that mode right now. I'll cut them some slack. |

I completely agree. "Dream On" and "The Show Must Go On" are inspirational?? Give me a break!!! Jason, David A. and Kristy Lee got it right--their songs were truly inspiring. I know these contestants chose songs that THEY felt were inspiring, but they've got to remember that it's US who are voting for them. What about "Bridge Over Troubled Water," or "The Impossible Dream" or "When You Wish Upon a Star?" There are so many many BETTER songs they could have chosen.
