I agree that the song was perfect for him, and no doubt his cuteness cemented another week on the show.
One funny little moment from last night: When Dolly was gushing over him and his hair, she reaches out and touches his dreadlocks. Jason seemed a hit surprised. Don't mess with the dreads!

I agree. I loved Jason's selection and thought he did it rather well. My husband and I were singing it this morning. I would love for him to record that, I'd buy it for sure.

He was wonderful, upbeat, beautiful. Ny-ers love him -- he did Dolly proud with that song!

It brought such joy to my heart to see a young man sing those words with such conviction. I read on his AI Forum that he has inspired another to start praying again. What more can you ask for?!?

I hope Jason remains in the running for awhile longer cuz it's such a pleasure to listen to him and watch him. His crystal blue eyes shine with sweetness and good humor and his voice has great warmth and charm. I can see how he would not fit into Simon's world of mean-snide remarks and shallow self serving attitudes, cuz that's not who Jason Castro is. His interview about how his greatest pleasure is in "serving others" said it all. We really like Jason for his talent but also for his Christian spirit, and will continue to vote for him.
