From The Associated Press:

"Why would we get rid of Paula?" wonders Cecile Frot-Coutaz matter-of-factly, when questioned about possibly nixing the wacky "American Idol" judge now infamous for - among other things - critiquing both of Jason Castro's songs after he'd sung only one.

Read more and tell us what you think.

Give it a rest already folks! Everybody makes mistakes. She's human just like everyone that watches the show so give her a break!

Paula is the only reason I ever watch the show. She is the most decent and human on there. I like to watch her in the same way we liked to watch the Mary Tyler Moore show.

I don't really watch AI after the auditions (because thats the best part), but after watching what happened on youtube after hearing all the hype on the radio and all websites i found that it wasnt that much big of a deal. Wether the show is rigged or not or wether Paula has any kind of (problems) it was a slip of words. Frankly I am ammazed no on ehas had more times like that. I mean after judging people you barely know for weeks--heck they all start to look the same. i really dont see what all the big hype is about. I really thought it was going to be something HUGE but i mean let it go..watch the show or not--they're still going to have the best ratings than everyine else.

I have been a fan since the outset. I have frequently found Paula to be a bit annoying. Her predictable avoidance of any negative critisism, and her always positive, supportive comments are, frankly useless. Yeah, Simon is often harsh and rude, but he does give some good advice, after all these are supposed to be the best talents competing. I just tuned Paula's comments out anyway. Just don't replace her with someone more annoying like Rosie O'Donnell or Paris Hilton.

I think that she has to go!! AMERICAN IDOL" is watch by young people and she is always in drugs or drunk !!!
She has so much money and is time for her retirement after a couple of months in a rehab facility.

I like paula but, she is too nice to be a judge. They should get someone a little tougher in there like Sharon Osbourne? Maybe not Sharon, but a respected female music industry Icon, Madonna? Barbara Streisand? I like Simon, he may seem a little cruel at times but, he is honest. Randy can play both roles, but I think he is more on the honest side than the wishy washy side.

In that article Cecile Frot-Coutaz went on to say something like, "that took a whole two seconds and look at all the buzz we got." There's no way she's going anywhere and there's no reason for us couch judges to even waste our time thinking it's going to happen.

I LOVE PAULA. I AGREE SHE IS THE NICES JUDGE ON THE SHOW. SHE HARDLY EVER SAYS ANY UPSETTING THINGS TO THE CONTESTENTS,IN FACT SHE TRYS TO MAKE THEM FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEMSELFS. LETS HEAR IT FOR MSS. PAULA

I love to watch American Idol! I think this season has had some incredible talent! Dave Cook gets my votes. As for Paula and her "slip up", give the girl a break. It was a mistake and nothing more. I love AI & paula rocks!!

Paula is not GOD! She is but a person with faults like many of us. If she feels it's any of our business then maybe one day she will inform of us what is going on with her but until then, let us simply enjoy her and move on. There are so many real things to be concerned with such as the cyclone that hit this weekend taking thousands of lives or the many wars around the world that should cease without taking any more innocent lives. This was the first time I've ever watched AI and it is my last as I do not understand how someone as pitiful as Jason beat out Michael, Carly or even Brooke when he is the most boring person I have ever heard attempt to sing. He has only his beautiful eyes and smile to go on. I am praying that he goes home this week...finally!
