Her hugs with her father and nephew seemed very emotional for just a trip to Rome. Those looked like "I'll see you in a few months after I get settled in Arizona" hugs.

BUT - I hope she went with Gio. I'd hate to seem him gone from the show!

Betty went to Rome by herself. Her dream made her realize she didn't want to make a decision, yet, so she ditched both guys for the time being. Besides, why would she want to go to Arizona to share Henry with another woman and his kid?

I think Karen is right! Betty realizes that she deserve a trip to Rome herself. I think if she actually moved to AZ then it would screw up the show. But a trip to Rome with Gio wouldn't be in her heart because she still loves Henry.

I'm in the "Betty went off to Rome by herself" camp, too.
The Henry option seems unlikely, both for the purposes of the show and because he makes for kind of boring TV. Plus, this way they could stretch out the love triangle.

My sister and I talked about it and concluded that she went to Rome with Hilda. We only think that because Daniel gave her the trip as a gift. I doubt she went with Henry.... At least I hope not! Team Gio!

She went to Rome. How else could they start the new season. In the Fall, the show will pick up with her coming home and deciding to concentrate on her career for the time being.

This show has really lost its appeal with me.

The Vanessa Williams trying to take over the company bit has really soured me on this show. It's old, it's been done, and it's booorrrrrringgg!

When this show first came out, I loved its edginess and funky sense of style-humor. Then they went all conspiracy, and it frankly tailed off.

My husband noticed that when she hugged her father good-bye she did not have on the engagement ring...so we are sure she did not go to Arizona. Hopefully, she went with Gio.

I think Betty went somewhere alone or to Rome with Hilda. She needs time to figure who she is and what she wants with her career and her romantic life. Besides Hilda needs to get away from the married guy.

Then when she comes back she can work on her carrer and on real relationship with Gio.
