Emmys: They love Tina Fey

First early thought from working through the nominees: If the Emmys loved Tina Fey any more they would have to marry her. 30 Rock, which deservedly won best comedy series last year, is up for the award again this year, and she's up again in the lead comedy actress category, which she won last year. And to top it off, she's also nominated for writing a 30 Rock episode and in the Outstanding Individual Performance In A Variety Or Music Program for hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live. Does it surprise you to learn that that SNL episode was also nominated for Outstanding Hairstyling For A Multi-Camera Series Or A Special. (yes, really.)

Comments

They love Tina Fey so much, they want to take her out behind the middle school and get her pregnant. (That is a 30 Rock reference....it's the best show ever.) You forgot to mention, also, that 30 Rock's 17 nominations have set a record for comedy series.

Oh, also, she was nominated last year for the actress Emmy, but did not win. She has won a Golden Globe and a SAG award for the role, but not an Emmy - yet.
