Hopefuls flocked to steamy Phoenix, where we first met Kara DioGuardi. Annoying or amazing? Let's hold off on that verdict.
Then Tuan Nguyen took the stage with his giant afro. I guess his Michael Jackson dance moves and song were supposed to be amusing, but I'm kinda over this stuff. I'll attempt to work up a giggle with the next awful one, though.
